On-Site Inspection
A.G.E. Co. undertakes on-site Inspection work on behalf of a number of clients , carrying out ultrasonic , magnetic , penetrant and visual tests on a variety of components and structures. UT , PT , MT , RT & VT have became a significant part of the companies onsite testing activity , in particular inspecting tubes of oil collars , pressure vessels , storage tanks and heat exchangers sited at industrial developments and on floating structures such as ships and submarines. The A.G.E. Co. prides itself on technique development and working with exotic materials.
Designing
Weld design is often considered as an area in which there's lots of practice but little theory. Engineering decisions at the design stage need to take account of properties of a material. It is essential that the welding engineer has the opportunity of making his specialist input to the design process, and an understanding of the basis of the design will help that contribution to be most effective. A.G.E. Co. can serve it's clients in weld-joint design, welding method selection, post weld heat treatment and any other applicable items related to the weld treatment. In few cases we also experienced stress and distortion measurements in accordance with referenced codes.
